  • The children’s attendance is organised based on registration numbers (from two to more days a week).

The early childhood centre is open from 8:00am to 1:00pm and from 2:00pm to 6.00pm, Mondays to Fridays, during the periods indicated in the yearly calendar. It accommodates a maximum of 30 children in the morning and 30 in the afternoon.

What is the transition?

The transition is a gradual process of about a fortnight, during which educators and family work closely to support the child in managing the change: beginning their life outside the home with different adults and other children.

Each child is different and unique and – depending on their response – the transition can take more or less time; the first days inside a childcare facility constitute a very delicate phase and is of profound importance for the family and the child, who must learn to manage the new environment with confidence.

During this phase, collaboration between families and educators is crucial, which is why a specific time frame has been allocated.
